Be Brave! (Kid's Corner)

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2nd Timothy 1:7

Why I chose this scripture is because I get scared sometimes and I am a kid. I read this scripture when I am afraid. What I feel when I read it, is that when you get scared you should stop and pray. You should remember to pray because only God can help take away your fears and because he has all the power. One time in VeggieTales, Junior watched a scary movie before he went to bed, even though his mom and dad said it might be too scary for him.Then after he watched the movie, he went to bed scared. Bob and Larry came into his room and sung him a song about God it says "God is bigger than the boogieman, he's bigger than Godzilla or the monsters on TV. Oh! God is bigger than the boogieman and he's watching out for you and me" so that means if you ever are afraid and you pray always remember that God is bigger than anything! Some things we get scared of are not real, some things are real and are scary but we pray and ask for God's protection. Just remember that God is always with us, and to be brave!
